Casino Tropical is made up of two floors. The first floor is where most of the gambling action takes place and is home to the bulk of their table games and electronic machines. Upstairs you will find the VIP area and be closer to the hotel’s restaurant and bar. The casino is open 24/7, with their table games going offline from 6 AM and reopening again in the evening at 6 PM.

Numerous special events and raffles are organized every month with guests given the opportunity to win money and gift vouchers to be used at the hotel and nearby businesses. Casino Tropical also has a conference room capable of holding up to 60 people which can be rented out for events. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy the live sports action in the bar which has 20 TV’s always showing the latest events.

High limit games are not available in the main gaming area of Casino Tropical and can only be enjoyed in the VIP area which offers guests no-limit cash-only poker games.

Table Games at Casino Tropical San Jose

Card games are the only table games available at Casino Tropical, as there is no roulette offered. These include Pai Gow Poker, Three Card Poker, and Rummy in the main gaming hall. Each table offers the same betting limits with the lowest bet being $1 and the highest $5. This is fun place to play table games although if you are roulette or blackjack fan, you may want to find another establishment.

For other gaming options, including player vs. player poker, you will need to go upstairs to the VIP room. Slot machines tend to be very popular at Casino Tropical and there are around 30 machines total. These machines are the only electronic games on offer, with no video poker or electronic table games available.

Hotel Morazan offers guests 6 room choices that vary in size and in-room facilities. All other amenities in the hotel are available to all guests. Their standard room package will cost you around $60 a night, with their more extravagant rooms going up to $100 a night and including in-room features like Jacuzzis and a TV lounge.

Free parking, access to the hotel WiFi, and complimentary breakfast are available and there is also a laundry service available and a restaurant and bar – both of which will cost you extra.

Restaurants at Casino Tropical

The casino itself does not have a restaurant, but the hotel’s restaurant, Tropical Sports Bar & Restaurant, is available to guests and the public and can be found on the second floor. Drinks and light meals can be ordered from the comfort of your table game or slot machine. The restaurant is open daily from 6 AM and closes at 10 PM, during the week, and until midnight on weekends. All menu items are light and casual. Options include toasted sandwiches, burgers, chicken wings, and omelets.
