Lake Worth Casino Building And Beach Complex
The Lake Worth 'Casino' has no gambling but is named after a historic casino that was on that location in the 1920s. The name pays homage to Lake Worth history. The newly renovated Lake Worth beachfront features a new playground with walking paths, a refurbished pier, restaurants, pavillions and a municipal pool. Restrooms and multiple showers make finding facilities easy. Kilwins chocolates, a pizza place and 2 locally popular restaurants (Benny's on the Beach & Mulligans) are all within walking distance. Beautiful landscaping frames the paths and pay parking lots. The pool recently re-opened to the public in 2013. Admission costs: adult, 13 years and older, $3.75 plus tax; youth, 3-12 years old, $3.25 plus tax; infants, 2 years old and younger, free; 12-week pass, $100. William O. Lockhart Municipal Pier sells bait, refreshments and rents tackle. You must pay to enter the pier as either a spectator or an angler. Lifeguards are on duty 9am – 5pm daily.
